59, 052 visitors experienced the St. Kitts and Nevis “Sustainable Island State” pavilion at EXPO 2025 during the period May 1st to 10th. Japan’s Golden Week brought a significant increase visitors to EXPO 2025. Golden Week in Japan is a week-long national holiday from April 29 to May 5, filled with cultural festivals and historical celebrations. This period often includes weekends, creating a rare opportunity for an extended break, especially in a country known for its diligent work culture.
During Golden week, many Japanese families and visitors alike took the time to enjoy EXPO 2025. Many visitors to the EXPO 2025 are eager to experience some of the world’s most advanced technology and to get a glimpse into the future as the theme for EXPO 2025 is “creating future societies for our lives”
The St. Kitts and Nevis “Sustainable Island State” pavilion is creating waves and punching above its weight showcasing our country’s advancement in the areas of robotics and our advancements in education, particularly in the technical disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). As a country that prides itself on its technological advancement, many Japanese and visitors from across the globe to the St. Kitts and Nevis pavilion are in awe of our robotic display.
